About Me

Here's more than you probably want to know about me...

Hello! Welcome to the page All About Me!!!! Hehehe. Don't worry! There is a way out, just not yet. First, take a little time to read some about me and then I promise I'll let you return. Enjoy!

Name: Casey (of course!)
Location: North Little Rock, AR
Age: 22
Birthday: 7-23-82

Please don't say these things to me, lest I should break (or snap for that matter):

There are places we can express those feelings, but this isn't one of them
Look! I made a higher grade than you! (I don't have claims to A's. Take them I couldn't care less.)
Bye.
I hate you.
You're not a good friend.
I love you, but....

Things you should not call me (even if I happen to fit them occasionally), lest I should suffer the aforesaid fate:

*selfish
*immature
*melodramatic
*childish
*stereotypical

Things I rebel against:

*Denying myself anything less than what I deserve
*conformity (football player/cheerleader fake happiness, fake smile, fake personality, fake everything)
*Being all about labels. It should NOT and does NOT matter that Daddy is a doctor and makes a lot of money or that Mommy drives a Mercedes and you just got your third car and you're only 17...NONE of this matters. What does matter is that you are you and I am me. Don't blend in. Don't conform because the second you do you've lost your life to the masses of teeny boppers listening to the Backstreet Boys and wearing Old Navy and Gap clothes anxiously reading Seventeen trying their best to follow the trends.

Section 1: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

You meet life head on and throw yourself into new experiences with zest and enthusiasm. You are direct, straightforward, assertive, and usually completely above board in all your dealings. Candid and incapable of guile, insincerity or phoniness, you project a confident and sometimes arrogant appearance to others. You often lack tact and sensitivity, and can be completely oblivious to others' needs, and inadvertently selfish. You are self-reliant and don't depend upon social approval and reinforcement as much as other people do.

You like to be original and do not mind going it alone. You may feel that you do not fit into groups very well, and that you do not naturally blend in and cooperate with others very easily. You like to be either a leader or a loner. You are a doer and thrive on freedom, challenge, and activity. You tend to think in clear, black and white terms, and to be somewhat simplistic in your outlook, which enables you toact in a very decisive and self-assured manner. When inspired with an idea, you feel such a sense of urgency and excitement about it that you will often charge ahead and try to implement it in a rather bold but poorly planned and crudely executed way. Patience and careful attention to details are not your forte. However, you never accept defeat and will have brilliant and unprecedented successes and discoveries, as well as painful failures. To you it is far better to make mistakes than it is toplay it safe and never try.

You are scornful of what you see as weakness or passivity inothers and also of the human tendency to imitate and follow. You are not a follower. Others see you as a strong individual, and perhaps brash and brazen as well. You present a strong front to the world and generally do not allow others to see your vulnerable or insecure side.
Proud and intensely individual, you really want to standout, to be the very best you can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for your unique contributions. Doing something well and being respected for it is extremely important to you, and you cannot tolerate being in the background, taking orders from others, or being "just one of the team". You must put your personal stamp on whatever you do, and direct your own course in life. You need to have a place where you can shine, express yourself creatively, and be the one in charge.

You have big dreams and the determination, spirit, vitality, and enthusiasm to bring them into being. You also have a noble, romantic heart, and a love of the dramatic, colorful, and extravagant.

For you it is true that "all the world's a stage" and you secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) desire to be the Star orHero in the play. You want to be great, and to receive the love and applause of an adoring audience, even if the "audience" is just one other special person. You need someone to believe inyou and your dreams. Though you appear radiantly self-confident and independent, you are actually very much dependent on the affirmation, love, and recognition of others. You cannot bear being unnoticed or unappreciated.

You also love wholeheartedly and generously and really know how to make the person you love feel special. You love the magic of "being in love" and know how to keep the romance alive in your relationships. You are also immensely loyal and will defend your loved ones and stand by them to the end - as long as they never offend your pride or betray your trust. However, you like to be the strong one in a relationship and you really do not share the leading role very easily. Ideally you need to find a person who is as strong-willed as yourself, but who will not try to dominate or compete with you.

Your strengths are your zest and love for life, yourcreative power, and your warm and generous heart. Your primary fault is your tendency to be very egocentric, so concerned with the impression you are making and with your own creative self-expression that you forget there is another, larger world that does not revolve around you.

Beliefs and Opinions

I've got a lot to say and I'm a very outspoken person so this page will be full of my thoughts on various topics. Hope you enjoy!

In this column, I'll talk about some of my deepest beliefs. What do I think are the most important principles that someone should rule their life by? What are my religious beliefs? My political beliefs?

I'm a strong 19 year old woman who strives to make the world a better place. A believer in feminism and equal rights for all regardless of race, gender, creed, religion, income, religion, etc.. I'm a dreamer. I dream of a better world and I think we can acheive that. I'm an actress and artist in my own world. I love to make people laugh and smile. I'm passionate, passionate about everything there is to be passionate about. I love life and I love love. I love being able to go outside and just breathe in the freedom that surrounds me. I'm a poet. I love writing about the beautiful things that appear in my mind. I love reading and learning about new things as much as possible. I am a nonconformist and I don't give into society's opinions of how girls are "supposed" to be (weak, subservient, obeying, about 20 pounds underweight). I believe that society is our worse enemy because it's true. Women and girls are also consistently taught from an early age that their self-worth is largely dependent on how they look. The fact that women earn more money than men in only two job categories, those of modeling and prostitution serves to illustrate this point. I'm an activist and I do my best to acheive justice for my causes (mainly women and animals). I'm a writer for www.themestream.com, www.thevine.com, and www.writtenbyme.com. I love writing so much and it makes me happy to be able to write things that affect people. I'm a webmaster of www.geniustellsall.com (feel free to visit and sign the guestbook!). I'm a very opinionated and sometimes can be a little hard-headed, but it contributes to all that I am. I'm the strong, confident woman that I am now in large part because of my dad. He passed on three years ago and he changed me in so many unspeakable ways. I love him and miss him so much. He is my strength and if any of you have lost someone that you loved more than anything else then you know what I mean when I say I live my life for him. I can still feel him with me sometimes. I can actually physically feel him usually I feel an extreme warmth on one side of my face. Back when I was in junior high, I was really depressed and I just wanted to die. We found out that my dad had cancer and so much was going on around me. Anyone who is feeling sad or depressed just remember that things will get better. Just trust in this truth and remember that "all you need is love." Peace and love to all! ~Casey

My Opinions on Current Events

This was my response to some poor, uneducated fools feeble attempt to prove that abortion is a good alternative to actually having the baby that you conceived...

I think abortion is so unbelivably wrong. It doesn't matter what you call it, fetus, baby, cells, whatever, it is undeniable that it is a Human Being. And what is it called when a human being's life is terminated by someone else? Murder. That's right. Abortion is murder by proxy. You could be killing the next president, the next Einstein, the next Mother Theresa. Don't you know that these babies CAN feel. They can feel those scissors poking into the back of their heads and those vaccums sucking their brains out. They can feel their bodies being cut into pieces and they can also feel their little bodies being burned by the acids injected into the placenta. There is no reason for this to occur. There are so many women out there who are dying to adopt children, while those children are dying because of the selfishness of their mothers. Babies are not just "another part of the mother." That is ridiculous. Babies are a whole other being inside her. Just because a nation says that it's legal to do something doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. My heart mourns for the souls of these children and for the fate of the women who participate in this barbaric procedure.
